July 22: Construction Begins Liftbridge Lane West Public Restroom

Constructions Begins on New Public Restroom

The Village of Fairport and contractors, Loyal Nine, broke ground on the Village’s new public restroom in late July 2022. The restroom site is located at the west end of Liftbridge Lane West also known as Canal Walk. The restroom is styled after the historic trolley station just across the street on Liftbridge Lane. Featuring adult and child changing stations along with standard facilities, the expected completion date of the project is fall 2022. Thank you to State Senator Brouk and Assembly Member Lunsford for their support with grant funding for this project and thank you to the persistent and patient members of the Fairport Community who championed this project.
