The Department of Public Works does not provide recycling.

The "Blue Box" recycling program is
operated by Waste Management of New York in conjunction with the Town of Perinton. Waste Management accepts; boxboard (cereal boxes, etc.), cardboard, newspapers,magazines, catalogues, drink boxes, "gable top" milk and juice cartons, plastics with No 1 or 2 on the bottom, metal, aluminum cans and whole glass containers.

Please put your Blue Box out on the tree lawn area for pick-up on Friday. Call Waste Management's Recycle America Division at 254-2106 for recycling specifics.  Additional boxes may be acquired from the Town of Perinton.

Computers and Other Home Electronics 

Residents interested in recycling computers and other home electronics may wish to contact the Rochester Area Residential PC,TV, & Electronics Recycling Program.   There may be other options available, however if these items are placed at the curb they will not be recycled.
